Happy Easter!

Sabrina in her Easter dress

Between Sabrina not feeling well and the darn batteries in my camera dying this was the best Easter morning picture we could get...

Bri was shaking from the cold but she didn't care...she loved holding onto the Easter basket and throwing the eggs in

She loved finding this egg - plastic tunnels are her dream right now

Yeah for Easter Egg Hunts!!!

Happy Easter everyone!! Easter is always when I start to officially think spring should start and so today was very nice because the sun actually came out and gave me that glimmer of hope. There are blossoms and flowers coming out and if snow even thinks of coming around again I just might get very angry. I am usually not quite sooooo desperate for spring but this winter has been awfully yucky for us. We have been so sick this year that I just want to spit...Anthony and Sabrina are both sick right now and I think I am done...NO MORE winter kaka sicky poo. I want us all to sleep well and feel good and I feel like we really need some good old sunshine and warmer weather. I am not a fan of being super hot but right now I say "Bring it on!"

Our Own March Madness...

Birthday Balloons!!!
Even though she still didn't feel very well Sabrina loved eating her birthday cupcake...yum yum!
Bri Bri with some of her new birthday toys
Good thing Grandma came with birthday gifts on her special day or we wouldn't have any fun memories of that day...
Sabrina on her birthday, she was pretty sick - poor thing - but she was a good sport!

What a crazy month...we had Sabrina and Anthony's birthday, being yucky sick for over a week, my brother and his wife coming in from Wisconsin, my best friends coming in from Virginia and California, and Anthony's Dad coming in from Trinidad. Whoosh! We just posted pictures from Bri Bri's birthday but hopefully I'll get around to putting more up. Posting has become more difficult since Sabrina has become obsessed with all laptops and computers :)

Making Our Own Sunshine...

So, January can get kind of yucky for me...February is a much better winter month in my opinion, maybe it's because I've dealt with the fact that the holidays are over and spring is right around the corner. We decided to try and make the last day of January a little brighter by having our own little beach day. We were able to squeeze Bri into last year's swimsuit (so that she could at least wear it once) and gave her a try at the big bathtub...she still prefers her small tub. We then went to the aquarium where Sabrina totally freaked out at the trout and Utah fish, she hated them - I don't know why they scared her and the sharks didn't but she loved all the tropical fish. Splashing in the water and crawling through the rocks were probably the highlight for her. Overall, I would say that we had success in making a cheery day for ourselves - it might become a January tradition.

Chinese New Year!

Ahhh, the year of the OX is here at last! This is my first post without pictures - I find that I rely on pictures to make things more interesting and cuter. However, I'm soooo tired and behind on everything I thought I could take a different approach. Sabrina is teething and I think that I want to cry more than she does. I have spent the last few weeks sleeping with her on the couch because she fusses all night and cries if I set her in her crib. If Anthony wasn't in school and we didn't share walls with neighbors I might let her cry a bit more in her crib for the sake of my back. Ah well, she is still cute and I still love her...I just wish I could pull those teeth out myself sometimes.

I kind of missed New Years for putting up a post and making goals for myself so I am grateful that the Chinese have a new year of their own that I can claim when things are a bit too crazy at the beginning of January. Tonight we will have Chinese food and I will seriously think on the things that I need to improve on this year as I drift off to la la land while watching Baby Einstein or Pooh Bear. Good Times!

Merry Christmas!!!

Let the games begin...

Our Little Family

BriBri's First Christmas

Merry Christmas to all of our family and friends. We love you all!!! This has been a year of many changes for us and this month has been especially crazy for us. We apologize if we do not get to everyone or leave someone out that we shouldn't - we are a bit mental right now and not ashamed to admit it. We are grateful for this time of year (even though it can get a bit crazy) to take a few moments to reflect on our Savior and all that His life means to us and for the blessings that we have. We are so grateful for our beautiful little girl who makes the Christmas trees, pine tree smells, twinkle lights and everything else that comes with this season a little more magical. May all of you have a wonderful Christmas time!
